Nevada Reading Week

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Nevada Reading Week is fast approaching and it will be celebrated the week of February 26th-March 2nd. Our theme this year is “Reading is a Voyage.” The purpose of Nevada Reading Week is to share the love of reading with our students and inspire them to become lifelong readers. Reading helps our students achieve their dreams, becoming the leaders of the future.

We invite you to visit a Reedom classroom this year during Reading Week as a Guest Reader. Bring your favorite children’s book from home to share or check one out from our beautiful library. Please contact your child’s teacher to make arrangements for your visit.

The short time it takes to share a story with a child can make a world of difference in their day. It means so much to our Reedom community and to our students. Thank you.
